In this case, our client had a large number of temporary employees, all of whom were reaching the maximum durations of their co-employment in the same timeframe. This was, of course, going to cause huge disruption to operations.

We transitioned all of the temporary employees in place to the Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions network of companies. This provided a long-term solution that offered full-time employment to these workers with a defined scope of work for our client at their facility

The results

Transitioning all of the temporary employees already in place at the client’s facility meant there was minimal work disruption during the on-boarding process. It also meant the client was able to get a return on the training investment already made in these workers with this new, long-term co-employment arrangement.

The success of this solution has seen PSS grow the number of employees providing on-site support at this client’s global sites to nearly 200, with more than 70 employees at this particular site.
